I know it has been a while. In december it was really busy. I had to finish a lot of presents and the week before New Years eve I had to finish my dress for it. That didn’t turn out the way I wanted it, but luckily I found a solution. Let me tell you about it…
Well, in november I already bought fabric to make me a dress for New Years eve. It was a wine red velvet fabric. So, the preparations were on time, but then I postponed the making of. I made a lot of other things, because in my head new years eve was like soooo far away. Then suddenly… It was Christmas (Merry Christmas by the way), what meant… Only a week to go for New years eve… The good news was, that I had two days off that week. So, I still had all the time to make the dress. Until I got my awesome Christmas gift from my boyfriend… On tuesday (the first day off) he invited me to go the musical of the Little Mermaid (yeah I know, best boyfriend ever <3). Luckily I still found some time that day to cut the fabric, so I could sew it on wednesday evening after work and then on thursday I wanted to sew on some pearls. Everything went well, I finished it off on wednesday evening, but… Drama Drama Drama. I didn’t like it… So on thursday (my second day off) I chose a new pattern, went to Pauli (one of the best fabric stores in Leuven), bought some new fabric, went home and started to sew me a new dress, which I finished off at friday night.
My boyfriend and I forgot to take pictures again from the night out. But that’s one of my new years resolutions for 2018. This year I will take many more pictures for my blog. And I will commit more time to it. I know I didn’t start very well, but I have been sick last week. And I was really really really sick. I think I can say that I have had all my illness for 2018 in one week.
Next time I’ll show you the Christmas present I made for baby Lilly.
See you then
With Lots of Love for 2018
